Hagerstown Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Tap this Weekend
 RIDGELEY, W.Va. (04/16/21) – Matt Cosner Racing is excited to announce an expanded partnership with LINE-X® for the 2021 season. The West Virginia-based team has joined forces with the market leader in spray-on truck bedliners, which will allow Cosner to pursue an aggressive, national schedule.
“It’s kind of wild how this whole deal came together. Our company (Global Truck Outfitters) is a LINE-X® franchise, so each year we proudly display their logo on our car. Back at East Bay Raceway Park during the Winternationals, LINE-X® was sponsoring the event with the Lucas Oil Series, and the company’s Director of Marketing was there and saw their logo on their car. We started talking, and from there this deal came together,” Cosner shared.
With LINE-X® becoming a principal marketing partner on Cosner’s No. 66c entry, the team now has its sights set on an ambitious schedule for the remainder of the 2021 season, which will include approximately 30 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events. The busy slate starts with this weekend’s doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday at Maryland’s Hagerstown Speedway and Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway.
“Needless to say we are very excited to have this opportunity to represent LINE-X® on the national scene as we travel to several major events for the first time,” Cosner continued. “Our goal is to gain experience this year and then make a run at the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Rookie of the Year title in 2022.”
Included in the planned events for Cosner in his LINE-X® No. 66c Nelson Auto Sales/ R.H. Lapp Mechanical Contractors/ Rocket Chassis/ Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model are a bevy of high-profile events.
His upcoming docket includes the Show Me 100 at Lucas Oil (Mo.) Speedway, the Silver Dollar Nationals at I-80 Speedway (Neb.), the Knoxville Late Model Nationals at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway, and the Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway.
