| May 30, 2020 - Matt Cosner Visits Hawkeye State for Davenport Speedway Doubleheader |
 Following the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, Matt Cosner made the trip to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday night for the doubleheader at the facility that offers a quarter-mile oval inside of the half-mile oval. With the 38-car field being split into two separate groups for qualifying, Cosner laid down the 16th fastest time in his group before placing ninth in his heat. Failing to place third or better in his B-Main, Matt was granted a provisional into the opening night feature. Passing five cars in the 30-lapper, Cosner recorded a 20th place outing.
The following night on the half-mile, Matt followed up a seventh place finish in his heat with a seventh place finish in his consolation event. Relying on a provisional into the $10,000-to-win finale, Cosner jumped up eight spots to register a 15th place finish.

| May 23, 2020 - 10th Place Finish in World of Outlaws Return at Jackson Motorplex |
After more than a two-month hiatus due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Matt Cosner returned behind the wheel of his R.H. Lapp Mechanical Contractors No. 66c Late Model on Friday night at Jackson Motorplex (Jackson, Mn.) for the Drydene Double Down Invitational. Drawing 26 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Matt edged his way into the $6,000-to-win opening night feature with a seventh place finish in his heat. Breaking into the Top-10, Cosner passed 11 cars in the 30-lap affair to register a 10th place finish.
On Saturday evening for the $20,000 top prize, Cosner posted a fifth place finish in his heat, which positioned him 23rd on the starting grid for the finale. Coming two spots shy of a Top-10 finish, Matt advanced through the field 11 spots in the 60-lapper to place 12th.

Matt Cosner was one of 19 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings competitors on hand at the (virtual) Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Monday night competing in the third and final eDirt Racing Shootout. Earning the 12th-starting position for the A-Main via preliminary events, Matt dropped one spot to register a 13th place outing.

| May 5, 2020 - Top 10 Finish with World of Outlaws at Virtual Volusia Speedway Park |
On Monday night the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model iRacing Invitational brought Matt Cosner to the (virtual) Volusia (FL) Speedway Park. With the event leading up to the eDirt Racing Shootout on CBS Sports Network on Tuesday, Cosner came one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth place finish. Picking up a 12-lap consolation victory, Matt locked into the 14th-starting position for the main event. With $1,000 on the line, Cosner gained four spots to register a 10th place finish.
The following night for the eDirt Racing Shootout, Matt advanced forward four spots in the 35-lap feature to place 13th.
