 With the regular season still on delay due to the rise of Coronavirus, Matt Cosner hopped behind the wheel of his (virtual) Late Model on Monday night at The (virtual) Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, North Carolina) for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model iRacing Invitational. Drawing 43 cars, Cosner followed up the 18th fastest lap in qualifying with a seventh-place finish in his heat. Needing a third-place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $1,000-to-win A-Main, Matt slipped back to a 13th-place outing.

| March 7, 2020 - Matt Cosner Follows World of Outlaws to Volunteer State |
 Friday night saw Matt Cosner return with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) competing in a doubleheader in the Volunteer State. In a field of 33 cars, Cosner laid down the seventh fastest lap in his time trial group before placing eighth in his heat race. Coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his B-Main with a fourth-place finish, Matt was granted a provisional into the opening night feature. Improving nine spots in the 50-lap affair, Matt Cosner recorded a 16th-place outing.
The following night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Tennessee Tipoff, Matt came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Logging a fifth-place outing in his B-Main, Cosner was forced to rely on a provisional into the show. With $12,000 on the line, Matt improved six spots in the 60-lapper to place 18th.
